You can extend an existing type to add conformance to a protocol, as described in Adding Protocol Conformance with an Extension . This includes a protocol with an associated type.

Swift’s Array type already provides an append(_:) method, a count property, and a subscript with an Int index to retrieve its elements. These three capabilities match the requirements of the Container protocol. This means that you can extend Array to conform to the Container protocol simply by declaring that Array adopts the protocol. You do this with an empty extension, as described in Declaring Protocol Adoption with an Extension :

Array’s existing append(_:) method and subscript enable Swift to infer the appropriate type to use for Item , just as for the generic Stack type above. After defining this extension, you can use any Array as a Container .

You can add type constraints to an associated type in a protocol to require that conforming types satisfy those constraints. For example, the following code defines a version of Container that requires the items in the container to be equatable.

To conform to this version of Container , the container’s Item type has to conform to the Equatable protocol.

A protocol can appear as part of its own requirements. For example, here’s a protocol that refines the Container protocol, adding the requirement of a suffix(_:) method. The suffix(_:) method returns a given number of elements from the end of the container, storing them in an instance of the Suffix type.

In this protocol, Suffix is an associated type, like the Item type in the Container example above. Suffix has two constraints: It must conform to the SuffixableContainer protocol (the protocol currently being defined), and its Item type must be the same as the container’s Item type. The constraint on Item is a generic where clause, which is discussed in Associated Types with a Generic Where Clause below.

Here’s an extension of the Stack type from Strong Reference Cycles for Closures above that adds conformance to the SuffixableContainer protocol:

Find out about HBU

HBU has created an education that goes further than most, by combining faith, reason and liberal arts into one core curriculum. An education that’s based not only on technical training, but the teachings of Christ, reason, and the past successes and failures of humanity.

As part of our mission to graduate such leaders, HBU works hard to provide both financial aid opportunities and to address issues of affordability. At HBU, our main goal is to provide students with a holistic education — one that helps them become more successful in every aspect of their lives. But not all of that education is found in the classroom, the chapel or in textbooks. Our tight-knit community is located in America’s fourth largest city, which means there’s always something new and interesting to do, whether on campus or off.

My time at HBU was a huge growth opportunity for me. I was really challenged. It was a season when I realized that this isn’t my parents’ faith or my church’s faith; it is mine.

Good value, shame about times

We booked our bus tickets on groupon so got them at a discount. You just buy the groupon voucher, call the woodbury bus company to reserve the bus time/date you want then turn up at the stop that time/date and give them your groupon voucher which they exchange for your bus ticket. We got the earliest bus, but this automatically means you're booked on the earliest coach back. So you get about 4 and a half hours, which is really rushed considering the number of shops at the outlet. We asked if we could get a later coach back they said to call around 1pm to see if there was any availability for a later coach as they'd know by then but unfortunately the later coaches were full.If you can then definitely get a space on a later coach back. The outlet itself is really big and has some great deals, but if you can't get to the outlet/even if you do go...I highly recommend Century 21 in midtown NY.You can turn up at the bus stop on the day without booking but this can be risky in case its already filed with people who pre booked.

Cheap bus to outlet

I bought the bus tickets from groupon only $25/pp instead $42 at the counter. If u got it from groupon, make sure u print it out, go to Port Authority Terminal 2nd floor (actually 1escator up) at the gray line window counter to exchange into bus tickets. Then proceed to level4 for the bus. We took the 8.30am. 1hr drive to Woodbury. Once arrived, proceed to Information collect your maps free coupon (for more discount) We took 5.30pm bus, was quite popular so make sure u arrivet the line early. It was cold but at the waiting line there were some heater. Overall was great.

Woodbury Common shopping tour Very, very dissappointing trip. It cost you al lot of travel time and thr money for the tickets to get there (approx 30$ pp) and the prices are even higher than downtown New York. The designer stuff is even far more expensive than in the European Outlets. If you look in every corner of all stores you may find a shawl or jacket for a real deal, but 85% of the goods are even higher priced than in the regular shops. Exception on the written above:Nike- good offers on shoesRalph Lauren - good deals on almost everythingG-star- interestingArmani X-change- few nice items for -80%The price level of the food and drinks is like: 'they saved money in shopping so let's overcharge them on the food.".What about 3 small frozen yoghurts with 2 tippings......20,49$ !!!!A day shopping in the Big Apple will bring home more bags than this 'Outlet' Park.

We waited outside Starbucks at Lexington Hotel for bus pick up. Stood there and saw some sort of mini bus, but the man just sat in it and didn't come out, eventually I went up to him about to ask and saw Woodbury bus on his coat and said we are booked, he looked on the list and yes get on. His next 2 pick ups he actually got off the bus, so we were a bit annoyed at that. Then we arrived at last city pick up to be told to get off the mini bus and go on a larger coach. Then the rep said our ticket was not his, we booked ours before we went to New York on Expedia. I even changed the pick up times with them before we went so it was theirs. Luckily I had printed off the email confirmation, which he took. This did spoil it at the start. Journey up and back then ok, no problems. One drop off on way back so had to walk quickly through New York to hotel carrying lots of bags.

Located in the Tirolean Unterland, surrounded by the rolling green foothills of the Kitzbühel Alps, lies Kirchberg. This region is well-known among trailriding enthusiasts in Tirol, not least thanks to Kurt Exenberger‘s Bikeacademy and the fact that World Cup winner Lisi Osl lives here and trains on the trails around Kirchberg. Reason enough, then, to take a closer look.

My plans to ride the trails around Kirchberg were delayed by a few weeks by rainy weather and the relatively late opening of the Fleckalmbahn cable car. However, on a Monday in late June – after what felt like months of rain – the weather forecast was finally good and it was time to see what Kirchberg has to offer. One of the most difficult choices I faced was selecting the right bike to take. Kirchberg is home to two mountains which could hardly be more different. Bringing my downhill bike seemed a bit over the top, so instead I opted for my all-mountain fully with 150mm of travel and a singlecrown fork. It turned out to be the perfect choice.

Getting there

Kirchberg is very easy to reach. It is just an hour an a half on the motorway from Munich via Wörgl. The drive from Innsbruck to Kirchberg takes around an hour. Those who prefer to travel on public transport can take the train from Munich (change in Wörgl) in around two hours or the train from Innsbruck in just over one hour. Both cable cars in Kirchberg can be easily accessed on a downhill bike from the railway station – albeit with a little bit of pedalling.

Accommodation Service

There are plenty of hotels in Kirchberg, but a word of warning: the region is not famous for its cheap accommodation. After all, the ritzy resort of Kitzbühel is just down the road. Nevertheless, the local tourism board’s homepage offers a good overview of the accommodation options available, including a number of specialist bike hotels . Camping in the car parks at the bottom of the cable cars is not permitted, but there are campsites just a few minutes’ drive away in Brixen and next to the Schwarzsee lake near Kitzbühel ( Helma Adrianna Papell VDixi
and )

There is plenty of good accommodation for mountainbikers in Kirchberg

Right next to the bottom of the Fleckalmbahn is the Bikeacademy , a legendary bike school which has been at the forefront of guiding and technique training since it was founded 16 years ago. It is also an official Ghost Test Centre and offers top-quality bikes for hire, from full-suspension downhill bikes to fatbikes and 20” children’s mountainbikes. The prices are very fair – a solid enduro bike costs around €50 per day. The Bikeacademy also offers guiding and a range of bike-handling courses. Founder and owner Kurt Exenberger coaches the Austrian national mountainbike team.
